iPad/tablet install

Sorry if this has been covered before but I have seen somewhere online somebody had replaced the satnav with and iPad or equivalent, he put a loop Type device to keep the most system working, but I can’t find it again, has anybody done anything similar ?, if so could you get in touch, many thanks.

I've seen an android screen replacement (presumably it's a FL2?), which comes with the MOST link, and a bodge box/speaker for the PDC system to keep functioning. As to the quality of the software or hardware, I can't say, and I don't think that kit is available now, and it was silly expensive.

I depends on what you want and expect from it I guess, but it's not a cheap upgrade.

What's up with the standard system?

It`s what I am trying to find out a bit about

I forgot to say that I don`t think the one for an Fl2 will fit an Fl1.
I`m looking forward to learning more.
