Intrusion alert warning

Don't know if this is connected or not, but just clicked on one of the links in the posts for seat covers (carseatcovers.co.uk) and then me computer started going a bit funky!!!! Tried stopping the website and I got the END PROGRAMME NOW message box up and then me anti virus checker came up with an INTRUSION ALERT on my computer. Checked the history thing and it said :-
HIGH LEVEL RISK - AN INTRUSION ATTEMPT BY

cyb3r.org is an open dns site ... foreign of some description ..still checking it out

Cheers Stevie, but that's the same lot ah think. Just clicked the link out of boredom more than anything else then things started to go funky. like I said don't know if it's connected to the link or not, but if it is, then folks should maybe know about it.

Aye ah reckon!!! Just checked the ani virus history and it came up with a different No. but the same "cyb3rz.org" end and a high level risk

What does that mean (in laymans terms) and why am ah gettin' these messages?

its a data collector recording what your looking at .usually safe , but when in doubt !! if your using explorer 7 it should have flagged up a yellow bar at the top stopping you until you clicked on it to proceed . just going to check it out further to make sure its ok

ok would appear best to avoid this site .. conflicting reports about these data collectors , some would appear harmless i.e just collecting customer info and site usage while others appear more harmful i.e carrying Trojans . its probably best to get this add removed or at least make people aware of it

buster, just a little thing that might help in future but would not have stopped this.....

if you get a pop up add or a window trying to open without your permission, use ALT and F4 together, this is a faster and more thorough way of killing the page than just clicking the close page cross at top r/h corner.
