Introduction of me

Hi Folks,

I have a 2008 Disco3 XS which I have owned trouble free for three years and much enjoyed

I fond myself here because for last few months trouble free is no longer an apt description.

I love the D3 for the space, power and ability to go anywhere--but when it is going wrong---

best 7 seater for a big family over long distances....except cant go even short ones right now

so conflicted Owner as my love affair has headed south--dont mind cars having problems--do mind when they let oyu down ont he road and you cant find the fault!!

so yeah thats me generally happy chap--3 kids live in North Wales--right now the modd is not hot to trot!

Hi and welcome to the asylum

if I may add as a D3 owner as well, having a decent code reader and multimeter goes along way to help keep costs down , plus ensuring belts and the upgraded oil pump have been done otherwise these can and do fail causing catastrophic engine failure

Thanks the AP is en route, though not sure what the upgraded oil pump is??? Belts were changed 30k ago i think.
