Thought if I put it here others will be able to search for it

it’s very important to check and replace the oil pump cover with the reinforced one, otherwise on the older design the timing belt tensioner snaps and causes catastrophic engine failure

here are some pics of the old and new design so can see the difference

particularly important after 2007 but not to say they don’t have the earlier design on older years

Timing belts and oil pump should be done every 105,000 miles or 7 x years which ever comes first

ignore at ur own peril and for sake of a few hundred quid its worth replacing the oil pump at the same time the belts are done

expect to pay roughly 1k for new belts, tensioners and oil pump

new style oil pump, has the extra reinforcement casing
