I’m very new to this site and would like to introduce myself my name is Mark I have a 1989 defender with a 300 TDI I’ve been into LanRover‘s for quite a long time but not really joined any of the sites, I thought it was about time I did.
there’s a lot of knowledgeable people out there who have done a lot of conversions and alterations to there Landy’s and enjoy actually doing it themselves like me.
I’m very interested in attempting an LS3 swap a Corvette motor and 6 speed transmission has any members out there actually tried to attempt this as there are a lot of companies that will do it for you at a massive price tag, as being Landrover owners we like to do a lot ourselves so I was wondering if anyone out there has attempted it and could give me any pointers, I know there is a company called GM performance who actually do crate engines six speed transmission and marks 4 x 4 in Australia does a conversion from the six speed to the LT 230 transfer box.
