P38 4.6 displaying some very odd characteristics on heavt braking there is a real wobble on the steering wheel but only one in say 4 or 5 times and also there is a real vibration through the vehicle not the steering wheel at any speed over 85 ( yeah I know simple solution do 60 but I am off to France again at the end of next week so have to find a fix pretty quick)
I changed the UJ's on the front prop this morning - the shudder started at 30 mph before I did them and I made sure it was all marked up and it went back in in the same place. Swivel ball joints were done within a year and new drag link new steering damper new track rod new brakes and discs. Was wondering if the track rod although quite new (less than 10k ) might be failing as the end with no adjustment is "wet" ie looks like the ball joint is weeping yet there is no movement in it any advice welcome as not sure what to look at - sorry meant to say both front wheel bearings replaced but the backs werent but again no movement.
