Freelander 1 intermittent loss of power

hi all little help please.2006 td4.problem intermitant loss of power as i pull off from stop for a few seconds then all ok,this sometimes the also happen on slow acceleration,the problem seems to come and go,any ideas please

Rail sensor is the first place to check. Look for corrosion on the plug and sensor pins.

Could be accelerator pedal position sensor, although that should register a fault code.
