intermittent flashing and continious ticking

Complete newby. Finally got back to a landy (oops had a mitsi for a while) However, previous owner installed led lights except side indicators - and now has continuous clicking (have replace relay) and intermittent flashing from side and indicators.
any ideas? thanks
 
When he fitted LED indicators, did he also change the flasher unit for a led compatible one? Might help if you tell us what vehicle you have.

thanks for reply Col. yes - i have also replaced it to be certain. vehicle is 09 puma 110. he did not change the 2 side indicators - still original - does this make a difference?
 
The flasher unit for LED bulbs is electronic and only needs milliwatts to energise, flasher units for ordinary filament bulbs needs watts to run, a difference of 1000 times. I'm not entirely sure if the side repeaters will be pulling enough power to cause the electronic flasher problems but for the sake of a pound or two I'de swap the side bulbs for led.

sorry - was not being rude - made the mistake of replying ot email update.
did order new side flashers - but at £20 per unit changed my mind!
