Disco 3 (LR3) Intermittent electrical gremlins.

Guys,
I have an intermittent issue where my sunroof doesn’t open/close this happens at the same time as the drivers seat doesn’t operate.....when one decides to work the other will work too.

checked and cleaned all fuses, all okay.

maybe related to that also....the o/s front side light isn’t working (bulb and fuse good)....also the o/s rear tail light isn’t working. (Fuse and bulb good)

any advise welcomed

Contact @gstuart on here, hes into his wiring diagrams so will be able to advise where the supply originates.

Also found out today that the elec mirrors don’t work either, although they will fold.

I know all the seat motors , roof motor and mirrors work. They’re all connected some how, I’m guessing there’s a poor earth somewhere....checked all the wiring today and all seems fine and dry.

one odd thing though....when the key is removed from the ignition the seat will move, but only about half an inch at a time. Weird.

I'd get a diagnostic read done, as there's nothing simple on a D3 electrical system.
