Evening gentlepersons. I have been through various threads, as ever with the RR new permutations appear every day. My truck is bang on most of the time. Get in, turn on, gentle rise, vehicle then flat-lines (which in this case is good). Sometimes however it slumps on the near side and the flat-line takes 3 -4 mins to sort its self out. Compressor is less than a year old, it would apppear to loose pressure occasionally - electricals ? Solenoids ? what should I look for ?
Thanks in advance.

If it always drops on the same side then I'd start by looking for leaks and closely examine the bags on that side. If you can't find anything then I'd test the height sensors.

If you haven't already got it I'd invest a few beer tokens with DATATEK and get yourself the software. Then you could plug in when it goes wrong and see what's happening.

As dogsbody said, airbags first port of call, the fact that it goes down overnight is a good indication that there is a leak. You have already had a new compressor which is another sign that it's flogging itself to death feeding leaks. Where the bags fold under leaks open and close. As I've said many times, the life of the airbags is 7/8 years 80K miles.

Thanks, I will check the sensors with the software, and spray the bottom of the bags with my plumbers leak detection fluid. This morning the eas light flashed to extended height breifly, so may be the sensor. The truck has a full dealer history and a couple of the bags look good the two others could look better................. that nano evo purchase is getting closer.
