horn works only on straight line and complete right lock,if i turn on any left lock no horn,car been to garage i am told the problem is not the clock spring unit but the switch OR both switches on steering wheel ,any ideas please,i cant believe this can be the problem
 
thanks mate,when i dropped the off the car and asked them to get me a new clock spring and fit it they got a brand new one of which turned out to be dud,cut cord. picked up car today hoping all fixed and thats there answer. o buy the just to add to prob.when i got car home gave the steering wheel a good tap while on tick over and turning from left to right dam horn worked both ways at times strange

New clock springs have been NLA for several years. The way around the problem, is to simply move the horn wire to a spare track on the clock spring connector. There's a couple of spare positions on the plug, as most FL1s don't have cruise control.
