Hi All,

Has anybody re trimmed their interior door cards and other interior plastic trim and if so what material worked well or not so well?

I have 6 different material samples back from ebhay but none of them seem right, I am building a custom center console that will run the full length for a 2x2 seating config and need to cover that too but all the samples are either too stiff to work the angles or too week and likely to rip.

I have already done the head lining in a grey material but although it looks good I think it could of been better - suede looks the biz but way too expensive but that might be my issue - me being too cheap!

Cheers

Buy a flocking kit. :)

Mental - I thought you was taking the Pi$$ then searched the term and saw it was a real thing! Never heard of this before. You could be onto something here - cheers for that, another option very possibly!

That flocking kit looks like a great way to do all the door cards and other plastic including the dash now but I still have a ply center console that I will need to pad and cover so still looking for a suitable material, might have to be a trip to a proper auto finishers shop me thinks.
A big thanks for the Flocking Kit suggestion though, this might be the way to go for the rest of it. A bit more research first.

Cheers Kevstar!
