Interior motion sensor issue

Hi, I’m a new owner. Ive just brought a 2013 freelander 2. I treated myself to a Gap-Diagnostic device and now have the error code B112C-96. Interior motion sensor- component failure-internal failure. I brought a replacement sensor, changed it and I’m still getting the same reading.......any advice?
