:fencing:when un locking my disco with remotes interior light flash 6 times but also noticed that rear wiper not working.... looked and asked about this but to no avail.......

If u have a 300 series disco it could be an indication of an iffy multi-function unit MFU.

Always a good idea to add your disco model to your posts.

the rear wiper was not working on mine, so I took the motor out and gave it a good clean up inside. I had to unsieze the cogs, but its working again now
Worth a look.
Can't help with lights.. No remote on mine..

Hi.

Can I just pick up on some help with this.

My D1 interior lights come on as normal when doors open but if the engine is running and I open a door then they do that flickering thing.

Very annoying.

Any suggestions folks.

Poor earths, low battery power, dirty contacts inside the lights and switches, bad contacts between bulbs and lgiht contacts, poor fuse connection .. all sorts of potential problems, it's mostly a case of working through each one and eliminating each light or door switch connection ..

As they stay solid unless the engine is running I'd also check the alternator and it's earth and battery connection.
