Interior lighting

I’ve been looking around and thinking about up grading the interior lights in my cab. I currently have the standard interior light and to say it’s usless is a understatement.

I’ve been playing with the idea of putting in strip led lights in like these I was also going to run a strip light to the back for the rear passengers seats.

Has anyone used something similar and also how you got around having it with the 3 settings like you do with the standard one so you have it on when you open the door, constantly on or off.

I got one of these about a year ago, it fits into your standard Defender interior light and I can't fault it for the price.....

I fitted a strip of 20 to my headlining and another one across the inside of the rear roof above the door.
They cost 50p a strip and so at that price I got 10, the rest have been used to replace the ceiling lights in a friends caravan.
Ideal!!

Well just ordered 4 of these 30cm long so should offer plenty of light through my cab
