Disco 1 Interior light with alarm fob

Hi all,

Not sure if I am imagining this, but I was sure that when I unlocked my 300 tdi with the alarm key fob (2 button type) that the interior lights came on before I opened the door??

They come on when I open the door and the light switch on the main light inside is in the right place - any ideas?

Not entirely sure I understand your question but my interior light comes on when I unlock and it also comes on when I open the doors with the switch in the central position. Hope this helps.

Yes, that's right, as now the dark nights are here, when I unlock with the fob, no interior light comes on until I open the door.

Wonder what's gone wrong now with her, and what needs changing or repairing....any idea's???

The two items involved is the security ecu to send the unlocking information and the multi function unit to receive it, and then switch on the interior lighting.
Crystal ball time for “what needs changing or repairing”.
