Interior Front Light.

Folks,

Another bloody electrical issue. Last week I noticed the interior light would not go on when pressing the button , when the door is opened the interior light lights up , this can only mean an issue with the buttons on the light ??

If this is the case can anyone help with part number . Mine is a 54 plate.

Take the light out and check the connector for corrosion, well known fault on 5 doors where water leaks in from the arial mount and drips onto the light.

yeah. my other one had this problem.

I fixed it very smply.

I cut the connecctor off and stripped and tinned the wires and soldered them onto the PCB


Because the only spare part I could find was the while wiring loom complete otherwise..
