Intercooler

I'm gonna be fitting a 200tdi (obviously) into my old 1986 ex-army 90 and wondered as i have to buy an intercooler does anyone have experience of getting a bigger than standard intercooler. I can't afford Alisport or owt like that and wondered if anything from another car would fit the bill? I've heard about a Supra one fitting and being big enough but not sure what model Supra it was. Any ideas?

yeah, you know, one of them petrol things that stays on tarmac. Tbf they go like bloody hell but get stuck on grass. I just want to up the size a bit to get some extra oomph you know?

standard supra intercooler not that big TBH - sits at the bottom left at the side of the radiator. you could buy a universal intercooler and then match up some pipes to fit. Its what I did with my old punto GT. only cost a couple of hundred all in.

it's gotta be worth a look. I just don't wanna fit the standard then get bored and want more ppower after about twenty minutes
