Direct line, they surprised me on my last two motors, £100+ less than the cheapest on the price comparision sites

I've found Churchill cheapest. £15 cheaper dealing with them direct than the same cover on Confused.com with Churchill.
A couple of years ago I was with Direct Line and when it was due for renewal they increased the premium by £50 despite having no claims. Phoned Churchill and they were £80 cheaper for identical cover..Surprisingly, Direct line and Churchill are part of the same Company....Bank of Scotland???????????????????? No wonder when I called Direct Line and told them that Churchill were cheaper, they said "Go with them then"

ive always found churchill v.expensive duuno y, im 40yrs old with max no claims and no convictions (bit of a miracle that one with the lead foot ive got) they must think me postcodes a lot worse than the rest ov em', up for renewal september so i''ll be comparing like a knoob again i s'pose for the cheapest
