can anyone help me

ive been onto adrian you know who today and asked for a quote for me series i gave all me details and never expected what i got told

basically the long and short is they cant find anyone who will touch me for a classic policy because its my only current vehicle :eek:

so my question is has anyone got any suggestions to combat this or have i got to get a normal insurance policy at a stupidly high price :confused:

You tried Lancaster or Sureterm ?

nope but ill give them a ring in the morning and i dont think ill be using it for work as ive been offered a job where its 15 miles away from me wich would be a tenner evry day in derv or £3.80 with a daysaver bus ticket

meaning the landy will only be used evenings and weekends if this job pans out right :rolleyes:

just tried the lancaster online quote thing wich shuttled me to go fookin compare and the cheapest they gave me was £1850.96p what the frook and wouldnt give me a classic policy choice thing :mad:

thats it im gonna try them in the morning by fone

I'm with sure term on a classic policy. The series is my only vehicle apart from a bike.
I said I didn't use the the series for commuting and they seems to have no problem with that.

What about getting a really ****ty scooter and saying that's your alternate vehicle.

finally got it with footman james for £240 and got me rebore booked for tomorrow after this there will only be a matter of the MOT and tax and im off :banana::dance::dance::dance:

i cant wait :smokin:

oh yeah i forgot to mention sureterm quoted me £5476 adrian ****s only got me to £3785 and some other fookers wanted £4597 and finally i tried churchill just for a laugh and got quoted an astrofookin nomical £6788.95p

just where do these ****s get off :rolleyes:

yep had me visit from the nice man from vosa who stamped the chassis rail with the original number gave me the black n silver plates to go with it and had me sign and fill in the logbook while he was there as he had to send it through his head office to swansea to get it signed off :D:D

Excellent! I was starting feel this wasn't going to be a happy ending after all your work. Vosa are not always arseholes then - they give a reason why they rubber stamped or just a yes?
