insurance stupidity again

just had the wifes pug 306 insurance renewal come through.... they claim to be saving us 300 odd quid by only charging 450..... quite a bit more than last year..... so just been on the meerkats.... declared the recent accident... woman drove into our unattended car and the new door... quotes have come in from 198 .... with the existing insurer 7th on the list @205.....
cut the excess from 350 to 100 and the quotes have gone up by about 15 quid from them all

just got the car back from the body shop yesterday.... sending the bill for our excess and out of pocket costs, to the other driver tomorrow.....

Love the comparison sites, we saved £60 a year on ours by offering no voluntary excess at all its on the gubbins thats come through £0 voluntary excess £125 compulsory excess

try parkers comparison site.... seems to come up cheaper for me
