I finally spoke to Sureterm - they said that if my freelander was modified I could stay on the same "Enthusiast" policy as last year for the same money, but as the vehicle is standard they are not interested! :( Mods included lifts, underbody protection, big wheels/tyres, cages, winches etc etc

Change the gear knob or summit basic, just enough to be able to say it's modified.;)

i would! just say you have bigger tires..

how silly do you go with mods?? do you tell them about gear knobs and stuff like a new grill? or just big stuff that actually changes things, like lift kit winches ect..

Have you tried the commodity insurers ? You`ll have to phone them up but you only need a couple - try Admiral and maybe More Than or Direct Line ? There seems to be little logic in their approach from one day to the next and you might strike lucky
I`d be surprised if there wasn`t an age limit on the Peugeot inclusive package, so you will need to check the small print, sometimes the age limit is disguised as a requirement for a certain number of years driving experience
