Hi!

I'm going to do some DIY in the van as clearly needs insulation everywhere. I love the van but it is very noise. The front floor panels are completely naked and the door doesn't have any rubber seals. I want to seal the door and windows with rubber seals and also I want to insulate the van with thermal and acustic protection. Any ideas or websites I could check??
I have been doing my research but I am open to new ideas!!!

Thanks in advance!!

Sticky mat on the panels will stop the noise.

For warmth the Diall recycled plastic stuff at b&q is awesome. Tip is to rip it by hand forget cutting it. Done my transit camper build recently

Thanks!

I'll definitely check that out! Would you advice to insulate the bonnet? I'm not sure if would overheat the engine

Tool station do a reflective radiator roll. That would reflect heat.

Personally I'd look for the proper manufacturers insulation mat for under bonnet. Most vans came as minibuses so that be first place to look tbh

What van is it ?
