Instrument Panel Lights

Hi, we have a 1996 300 TDI, all of a sudden the lights in the panel under the radio (heater control lights etc) have stopped working. I've checked the only fuse I can see that would relate to them the one which controls the clock but it seems fine. Does anyone know how to get to the bulb behind the heater controls so I can check it. Thanks

Mine keeps doing that...tap it and they come back on again!
