Install a 3.5mm Jack

I have a 56 Freelander1 Freestyle with the 10CD changer. I want to install a 3.5mm audio Jack, I have a BLA-3.5mm connector that I have been told wil plug into the back of the radio/CD player.. has anyone done this? any advice would be a good.

Did a bit more searching around and found some bits of info on fitting MP3 i/p's and Loudspeaking Phone fitting.
Have zipped the two docs to attach - hope they help.
There's a link included where they go into the techy stuff with lots of piccys of the various combinations of kit.
