Im wanting a set of inspection ramps for doing oil changes etc. Which models are best for Defender 110s?

Found these so far...

Car Ramps CRW25 - Machine Mart

Landrover Dash Console from Raptor Engineering | Dashboard Accessories | Landrover Accessories

I see the Difflock ramps are for use up to 2000kg. I think my 110 is 3000kg, but most of that weight must be at the front (engine). Is a 2000kg rating sufficient?

Any recommendations please?

i bought some cheap ones off ebay for £3 from some local guy. the landy is 3T in total. the weight of just the front or back is considerably less. in fact mine are the same a the machine mart ones and there fine.

That brings the cost down a little, the Raptor Engineering ramps cost a fortune!

Railway sleepers.

You mean those folk who sleep at railways? Sounds like an idea:D

I bought 4 from Halfrauds, but have hardly ever used them. 2000kg is fine, because that's only about 750kg per wheel load if your 110 weighs 3000kg.

I can do oil changes on mine without the need to jack it up at all, comes from having 36" tyres, but if I do I'd rather put it on axle stands, can almost walk under it them.
