aAs in my rotton inner wing thread ive sealed the seam where i thought the leak was coming in , but as weve had some rain its coming in again , the annoying part about it is that when you get a hose on it it doesnt seem to leak , does anybody at all know where it will be coming from it just runs down the passenger side footwell under the dash its not the sun roof as ive taped the front one up .
does the drain tube from the rear run down the front piller as theres a clear pipe that runs under there or that could be the rear wash tube, plese help as im gonna get shut of it if it doesnt stop leaking , the carpet is soaking again many thanks jono:confused:

And I thought ours had a freak spot of rust. We've got that too.

The hole where the ariel cable goes into the passenger compartment has rusted massively on ours (circa 10cm diameter) and water gets in though here.

Going to whip the wing off, get the rust out and get a plate welded on one day...

Now then I'm in East Yorkshire if you go any further east you'll be in the sea, in fact if I stood still for a couple of years I'd be in the sea. Now then your in Derbyshire which is a long way from the sea. Not that the sea has got anything to do with it, but if you held your computer monitor out of the window I might be able to read your post.

I had the same problem.Turned out that water was leaking in through the wiring loom that passes through the bulkhead behind dash.
The loom goes up behind washer bottle then is clipped to the bottom of tray below windscreen.Water collects in tray and leaks through clip hole onto loom then runs down loom through bulkhead into footwell.
Cured by removing clip and filling hole with sealant.
Hopes this helps
Steve
