Inner rear quarters

Have just seen on another forum that spanner monkeys are now selling inner rear quarter panels for the Disco 1 another common rot point catered for.

Oh really? Bit late for my self but could be handy for a lot of people.

That is their webby but I looked in their shop section and didn't see them but it would be great if they did as good panels can make a crappy job easy!!

It said to email them for information, probably waiting to have the website updated.
Think they were a bit under 100 quid for the pair including vat.

Just checked the other forum, 44 quid each including vat, delivery on top.

Ah I thought this was for a inner rear 1/4 panel not the outer wheel arch.
Ah well

these boys obviously don't know where the 1/4 is....

We can usually price match Island and most others, apart from Britpart as we don't supply it. If they're from the same supplier we can negotiate based on their retailing price

Regardless sorry if you thought they were something else Neil, these are what was discussed on the other forums, which panels are you looking for?

i have to say i thought they were talking about the rear 1/4's too not outer rear arch.
inner rear 1/4's are the panels below the rear side windows on the inside.
have never seen them as repair panels just repaired with sheet metal and thought it was a good idea that someone had produced them.
guess we will just have to stick with repairing them with sheet metal.

We tend to do them with sheet metal as more often than not the repair panel doesn't match the damaged area and you'd end up piecing in. The ones island list we do those too but like I've said it's often easier to make

As said I was hoping it was for inner 1/4 panels like the heading of this thread says.
I really don't see why it would be difficult to produce the part and they would sell.

I under stand that it is not possible to make a full replacement one but one that could be cut down and patched in would be perfect.
