Bit confused about inlet manifold gaskets...going to try to change my injectors myself and I think I need 8 gaskets in total for the inlet manifold. 4 round & 4 square.
I think the part numbers are LKJ101130L & LKJ101120L.
Is this right?
Also hot engine or not? I've read some posts suggesting work on a warm engine but surely the fit gets tighter when warm as metal expands when warm and I would think the injector therefore gets bigger & the hole gets smaller, surely that means it all gets tighter? Maybe I'm missing the point, possibly the heat softens the carbon deposits so the injector can move?
