Injector seals?????

hi people

Im trying to solve a small diesel leak I have got. So my question is I am aware that there are copper seals where the injectors are held in place with bots, however are there seals around the actual injector when you take it out

There`s only a mention of one sealing washer in RAVE so I presume there is just the one, the copper one as you say.

Plus an 'o' ring seal around the injector body.
The most likely place for a diesel leak is the fitting for the leak off pipe.

hi

yeah i have replaced the leak off pipe but had a massive leak today, think i didnt seat the injector properly :doh:

Anywayz where is the most common place to leak from round the injectors etc? is it from the unions?

Most common? broken plastic 't' where the leak off pipe fits......
