injector pumps

i have a 1994 300tdi and was wondering if a 200tdi 1991 injector pump was the same?

No it isn't.

One may be a Lucas CAV, and the other may be a Bosch.

Don't bet on swapping them!

It will be a Bosch, they should interchange, they are both VE pumps. I have also read of it being done and I don't think there was any modifications needed.

Often bosch pumps from a similar size engine will have the same fittings.

The boy racers put the land rover pumps into their fiestas and things! MAD.

both will be bosch ve pumps. i have a late 300 pump with potentiometer taken of on my 200 with no mods at all. straight swap.

I stripped a Lucas CAV pump to its component parts this morning AND put it all back together again!

They can fit it once I am miles clear ....

It means he stripped a pump and put it all back together, but he doesnt want to be there when its restarted.

However, it will run better than Lucas ever intended it to if CharlesY had anything to do with it!
