Hi. My first post so go easy on me...
I've got a Disco TD5 mK2 which I'm told by a 'diesel specialist' has an injector problem (originally car broke down on motorway going to airport - at the time seemed like it was running out of petrol...) and needs all 5 replaced at a cost of £250ish each plus labour - ouch. I'm a bit ignorant mechanically but is it likely that they all need replacing or is this my garage just trying to make a few bob? Have already replaced fuel pump which did not sort. Any budding Landy mechanics in London fancy a crack at repairing or can give their thoughts or advice on what I should do to avoid a two grand bill!!! Appreciated. Ian

I've heard of a couple of injectors going down at once but never 5. It sounds more like intank fuel pump to me. £230 for a new one. Turn the ignition on and listen to see if you can hear the fuel pump buzzing. If it aint buzzing you wont get fuel.
