injector loom, oem or genuine

Got a leaking fuel regulator and dodgy loom, do i go genuine or oem. is it worth using a repair kit for regulator.whats your experience?

I put a all makes injector loom in my defender and it was ****ing oil out within 2 months and had buckled and distorted when I took the top off the engine . genuine one was about 45 quid and I only ever fit genuine pressure regs . our lad has tried repair kits but doesn't always work . he just fits new now

Go genuine, not too expensive and I believe you can do some form of modification to seal the connector so it won't ever leak oil

Go genuine. Seem to last longer in the first place. And not to much more to buy.
