inject some redex into the cylinders when you do a plug change, let it soak for 15/20 mins then fire it up see how much crap comes out the back end,i done it a while ago on a mates car, reckons it runs better now than when he bought it 3 years ago;)

Yeah it's clouds of burning Redex.:)

more like having a ww2 destroyer paked in the driveway, mind there was a lot of chunks of carbon came out the tailpipe,so it must have worked.

Yes Redex softens carbon, that is why it was used, a penny (old penny) a shot kept decokes at bay a bit.

i only used to put a bit in when i changed the plugs, and maybe once a year in the tank,i know some cars carbon more than others, like some of the petrol imports, but some people bang on.about that ekotech 10k boost, ive never tried or used it so i couldn,t say if it worked or not,but apparantly you spray it into the induction system but after the mass meter, and it supposidly cleans the system out.
i may try and find some and give it a go in the name of science, just before a strip down to see if it is any good, and let you all know.

Spraying fine water mist or steam into induction system has same effect. Removes carbon deposits from piston and combustion chamber.

If you want something to put in a diesel to give it a boost try a chemical called:

2-ethylhexynitrate !

That should do the trick, its found in all the main performance additives. Apart from they water it down with solvent

I use it myself (and sell it) bit of a 2EHN dealer! ;)
