indicators nothing

Hi all been having problems with my disco 200 indicators were staying lit but not flashing ,was decided it was the relay drivers side looked in haynes book of lies and it said one with blue wiring plug so got replacement popped it in and nothing they no longer lit up popped old un back in nope they dont light up with that one anymore had a decca at fuses they all ok but changed anyways still dead as a door post any ideas lads bit worried now as my electrical skills are like totally zero :/

check connection betwen indicator stalk and loom.also check for any loose or broken earth wires appertaining to indicators.

As u have a Hayns manual look at wiring diagam 3 that shows a simple layout of the items and where you should be checking voltage with your multimeter.

If fusible links x 2 plus fuses x 2 are Ok start at the ignition switch then on to hazard switch via fuse B3, then on to the relay.
From the relay on to the indicator switch via fuse C8.

Also check continuity of the earth at the relay, that's the black wire.
