This has been going on since i got the vehicle, but, is something i really think i should address

I lock the car with the keyfob, all fine, then after that about every 15 minutes (although it seems to becoming more frequent now) the indicators flash 3 times.

The siren is unplugged- has been since i got the disco, i assume as there is some kind of alarm fault

Can't find anything about this on Google / search either?

The only other fault is that the interior lights don't work with the door open sensors, although the drivers door sounds when i leave the key in suggesting the drivers door one works - maybe worth be checking the other door sensors?

hmm, its not linked to the door switches 'cus the interior light doesn't come on at all when on door setting, so that's obviously a different fault.

It doesn't flash straight after locking either, which i think they're meant to?

Which sensors were you referring to freelaner?

In your first post "I lock the car with the keyfob, all fine".... second post "It doesn't flash straight after locking either".
So
Indicators not flashing on locking with the fob is a sign of the fobs battery requires replacing.
The five door pin switches just signal the multifunction unit to turn on the interior lights which stay on and then dim and turn off till the next time, the alarm/C Locking ecu does the same when unlocking.

If the alarm was being activated the hazards would flash for 30 seconds when the system resets.

Hi sorry to drag up a mega old thread but I've done a search for this problem and found your post. My disco is doing exactly the same. everything seems to work fine although siren is unplugged like yours and my indicators flash 3 times periodically. Did you ever solve your problem?

Holy thread revival batman!

The only reason for the alarm siren to be unplugged is because of a faulty unit. The batteries inside the unit degrade overtime and leak acid over the circuit board which causes it to randomly go off and can lead to a dead battery. I'd replace it with a new or good second hand one and see if that helps.
