Indicator repeaters

A small difficulty I know, but I would appreciate some help. How do you get the covers off the wee indicator lamps in the wings just in front of the doors? I've tried a gentle levering but obviously don't want to break them. They're half full of mud, (maybe the result of an over enthusiastic river crossing?)

Think they slide backwards or forwards then pull out. Complete lamp comes out on it's wires, bulb holder fits in from back.

And can be bleddy tight with the rubber backing acting like glue if they've never been off.

Yep and if they are clear ones DON'T bust them they are £20.00 each from a dealer. About £8.50 a pair on the bay..
