Indicator relay

Hey guys, looking for a bit of help.

My indicators have started to rapid flash - at random it would seem.

If I am stationary or slowing down for some reason....

not sure if it is the load resistors I have fitted as got LEDs for my front indicators or the relay or something completely different - as the way it seems to be...

So thought I would change over the relay for a LED version to stop the rapid flash. Have had a search about, but nothing concrete, and also the ones I have found either have 3 pins or 5 pins - my relay has 4. I did read about a 'solid state' relay but not sure what these are?

So does anyone know where to get a replacement relay to run LEDs without rapid flash??

Are you sure all the indicators are working, my right side is flashing rapindly and it is because the bumper indicator bulb has gone. Could you have an intermittent connection on one of your indicators?

You could start looking here,

led indicator relay | eBay

or go to a LR independent and pay for them to do the looking,theres ads in the mags,mate.....best I can do

Yup - first thing I did was check that all the bulbs are working - as I had it before, but it was one of the side 5w bulbs that had gone - drove me crazy because I never thought those would affect the relay and kept checking the front and rears :doh:

trawled through them all last night - could only find 3 or 5 pin ones - the 4 pins that I found today are not the same layout - for Honda bikes aparantly....

Will strip down the front lights tonigh, and see if its the load resistors.....had hoped I might of been able to change the relay - thought it was too easy lol
