I have a problem with the nearside rear upper indicator on my 1994 300Tdi auto Discovery. The indicator stays on with a constant light whether the ignition is on or not. When I indicate left, the bulb flashes alternatively to the one in the bumper, but stays on constantly when the indicator is cancelled. I have solved the problem temporarily by removing the upper bulb (after having first removed the side seat to allow my shovel hands to get in to the recess!), but that is obviously not ideal.

Any suggestions?

try attaching a wire from the neg on the bulb holder to somwhere nice on the body and i dont mean a swooping curve on one of the panels although id you manage to find one ill buy it off you lol
just attach it to say the chassis or somthing then try the indicator, will prob need 2 of you to do it as it will be alot easier gettin somone to work the indicators.
i was going to mention maybe a weak stalk just making contact slightly but thinking about it i doubt it, on these it usually the headlights it messes with.
