Indicator Issues

Hi, basically there is somthing funny going on with the indicators. At first when i indicated left all was fine but indicating rite the indicator flashed really fast. After driving a few metres the left started flashing really fast and when indicating right it just made a high pitched whine. is this likely to be a nackerd relay or just a lose conection.

Mine did something similar but it was just on one side flashing really fast had a look out side and the left rear bulb had gone on that side so i replaced it and it sorted it out. But you probably checked already just giving my 2 cents.

check connections on hazard light switch and relay.LEE

as stated,.....usually a buggerd bulb.have you had a new cross member??? if so there could be a nest of snakes where the wiring loom has been cut during the repair work. worth checking indicator relay for the cost of a few quid as it seems to collect water on mine......invested in a rubber glove and cable tie lol.

It sounds more like a bad earth to me.

Yep, or the wiring has rubbed through the insulation, if left flashing when turning right etc. The front wiring follows a seperate path I think so that would be the wires on the way to the back.
