Indicator fault and another remote fob?

Hi all... finally got my Disco 1 300TDi 97

Most things are well... just a few niggles to sort out. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

The indicators go double the speed they are supposed to. All bulbs are OK, and flashing but when i initially indicate, the little picture of the trailer on the dash flashes once. Im guessing its a bad earth on the towing electrics, or the disco thinks theres a trailer there... hoping someone knows.

And the remote fob, i assume its the original LUCAS 17TN Key. All working, but I only have 1. Can i get a spare, and how do you program it to the car?

With the indicators assume all eight bulbs are flashing, if so the relay maybe faulty or incorrect..that is correct the trailer tell-tell symbol will flash only once, unless a trailer lights are plugged in then it flashes in unison.
Remote key is one company that will supply a programmed remote fobs, look at their site.

Yep all bulbs are flashing, and the tell tale is flashing once, which as you say is correct, but the indicators are going way too fast. Its as if a bulb is out, but it isnt..

Hang on... 8 bulbs... i only see 6. Im guessing there are meant to be indicators in the bumper too... ?

Yes

if not why not? Have they been removed or just broken if removed u must replace the relay with will be suitable one for the 4 + 2 repeaters not 6 + 2.

Indicators sorted, bad connection to bumper lights

Now have bumper rear lights also working, getting there!
