in need of a 2.5 n/a engine

hi all my defender is dead i need a 2.5 n/a engine fast can anyone help cant see how i to list in wanted part cheers

Wow, from that description a detailed diagnosis is possible.

My diagnosis is that the guy who wrote that is a nutter!

Maybe the engine is easily repairable?

ha ha it went bang and now theres a big hole in the bottom end whats the point repairing it may aswel drop an engine in it lol

I tell you lads .. this one's going to be trouble.

I guess he threw a rod. He might be right about needing a new engine.

no saw off broken con rod. mend hole with plastic metal. it now becomes a three cylinder 1.8 which should be cheaper to insure

Why fill in the hole?

Just call it "Positive crank-case ventilation".

Minis used to have that when Minis were Minis.

What did you use, i'm a fan of PX and as much nitro-based fertiliser as you can lay your hands on...seems a bit extreme though, you could have just scrapped it.
