I've joined the ranks of the P38 Owners....

I've got a 51 plate (Dec 01) 2.5 DHSE in Blue (god only knows what the shade is called - other than Dark Blue!)

Good Condition, can't find anything wrong (yet) with the electrics or toys... So I'm chuffed...!

Yea, I suppose you could of got a 4.6 V8 or a 4.0 V8 but I think you made the right decision going with the 2.5 Diesel, just last week on the A43 going past Silverstone there was a 4.6 on the side of the road that had just come to a halt after plooms of white smoke had come out of it. I guess it was just yet another slipped liner and an overheating V8.

At least with the diesel you wont need to worry about that :)

-Wills :)

The AA must have been really slow to respond to him then.....3 hrs after he passed you 20 miles away..:D:p

I honestly would have preferred a 4.6 V8 (well, I'd rather have a Supercharged Sport but thats another story!!) but I have to be realistic!

It'll do for the moment!

Well who needs speed really. You can still waft around in a DHSE. At least you have all the toys to play with :)

Congratulations on your purchase, a late DHSE is a good vehicle, all the toys you need with a bit of economy to make it a realistic everyday car.

I laughed at Gaylander owners when I drove the P38's predecessor - a 1998 Frontera.... Mind you, they used to laugh and point at me too, so I guess it was only fair!

This is the new beastie though:

Sorry if the image is a little on the large side.....

I've got a few questions relating to the P38 - I'm creating a list!!

The interior....

I've worked out that the exterior colour is Oslo Blue, but what colour is the leather? Is it Lightstone??

How come you have chrome around your gear selector? :( Also why are your door lock things the same colour as the leather. Mide are black :(
