    Yea... been kicked off Facebook again for a week lol
    Anyway, my son got married on Saturday in the City, and I saw this... its a Rapier 127 V8 hes turned it into a restaurant!! a rare beast it is too

    What is rtv? I have superglue....and some pegs.
    Gonna try reuse old gasket, gotta be the breather - the oil ****ing out filler cap again?????

    Thanks, I know what it is now I’ve seen it.

    Duct tape I usually make do wiv ;)

    Took my P38 to the guy I bought it off today, booked in for its MOT work Oct. He was amazed how much work I’ve done to it

    It is the half-moon shape cut out that the gasket fills at the back under the bulkhead. Fiddly as as you like to get back in place without being gasket being knocked out. I managed it on the third attempt without anything but a dab of RTV to fix to the cover first would have been a good idea ... If only I had some lying around!

    RTV = Room Temperature Vulcanising. Curing is initiated by moisture in the air.
