Picture024.jpg

not a great pic taken on the old mobily its a 25 n/a dozel but what a pig these are to drive especialy arfter being used to the old 4.6 v8

any way good to see all the old faces are still here and alot of new ones, time now to start upgrading it first will have to be a 200 tdi conversion i think but not sure what colour to paint it yet am thinking of a desert military camo colours.

any hows im glad to back:)

thanks mate good to be back you still got the green beast?
nah, couldnt get it passed an mot so got shot. Was used an abused when i moved up to derby though and found a few more lanes local to me. Did a few little mods and it was getting quite useful, had some bigger mud tire, ripped the bull bars off, diff guards, steering guards, wading kit and a few other bits n pieces. Not got the money to reinvest at the mo, got laid off twice in 14 months:doh:. Will have to see if i can get a few more quid together, think a disco will be me next purchase.

from ya pics bulkhead needs looking at. Had it off road yet?Got some gnarly tires on there!Suggests a laning beasty to me!

sad to here about the green beast ill always remember you going down that step hill at bures that i bottled it with the old p38 prob be a bit braver in this, the two top corners of the bulkhead have been replaced by the previous owner hence the red oxide, but there is a hole above the brake servo just under the rubber bonnet seal which will need a patch and the the rear tub caps are shot, there is a clunking sound when i drop the clutch quickly but when i let the clutch out gently it doesnt so im hoping its not the gear box (maybe need to grease the props and have a look at the a frame joint), plans are to fit a 200 tdi as the n/a doozle is a pig, rear axle and trany from a disco when an old pooper comes up thats cheap, defo gonna be taking it out lanning and also take my little lad camping, took a little bit to get him to get in it but once i got him to go in it i cant keep him out of it, given the choice to go in the x type or the landy and he chooses the landy every time what a good lad:)
