I'm a heavy handed t&%$t !!!!

After a good days welding on the bulkhead, I finshed off by re-fitting the bolt that connects the bulkhead to the windscreen frame. BUT... I over tightened it, and snapped off one of the allminium flanges, that the bolt compresses onto.

.

I've managed to secure it... just.

But, I'm struggling to find a more permanent soluition to fixing it.

I've got a mig welder, how difficult would it be to weld it back on ( I've never welded Aluminium before)?

Otherwise, have you got any other sugestions?

Take it to an ally welding specialist, shouldn't cost much, but there again how much is a new un.
