Was out the other evening and noticed that I could not read the digital clock or find out where the fag lighter was when it went dark. (How tiresome you may say) Never noticed this before as do not go out after dark; vampires you know.

How does the clock come out? Do I just pull at it and hope? Is there a bulb in there?

I assume that the fag lighter just unscrews in the best British Leyland fashion. Aaah the memories!!!!!

The lamp is fixed into a plastic base, i need to do mine too - they're available on fleabay although i'm thinking of trying an LED in place of the lamp

The ciggy lighter is on a plate just unclip from the dash as per the clock, and talking about the clock, a Rangie analogue clock is a straight swap (cannot remember the year but there is only one square one that is the same size as yours) except you will need the bulb and holder from a Rangie, I did this and also painted the hands orange and then took out the dash and did the same with the speedo ect. Added red dash bulbs and it looks the dogs dangly bits day and night! And you can see the time in the sunlight, hmmm I assume the designers only worked at night or at least in the shade when they came up with that digital version?
