Ignition barrel series 3

Currently putting my series 3 back together and was wandering if it is possible to move the ignition barrel / choke pull to the right side of the column as an oppose to the left (essentially spinning the steering lock round half a turn). Physically it fits, but I was wandering if i'll have trouble with the plastic trim and whether the indicator / horn stalk will work on the other side (assuming i'll have to wire the switches opposite of what they were to counter act the 180degree turn).

I know it sounds odd, but I would just prefer to have the barrel on the right side, if its not possible, then obviously its no good.

whats wrong with it being the right way round - the way Landrover intended it to be?!

anything can be done but the main problem your gonna have is the steering lock pin wont have a hole to engage with the colum shaft unless you turn the houseing over aswell wich will make that awkward to fit to the dash then unless you remove the lock pin out of the barrel completely
is this just so you can have the indicator stick on the same side as your car i wonder
