Hi,

Ok, I need a pulley stud thing? - I don't know where to get them, or whats actually called or anything. I have searched but no luck, only seen them in full kits and that isn't what I need.

Here is a picture of what I mean, the bit that has sheered off.. and all that **** around it is bits of the belt

Cheers guys.

I know mate, well it was running when the bolt sheered so you can imagine!

I've got a new one of those already. Gonna put a new stud in and a new belt and hope the internals aren't knackered.

Stud should come out ok, I just need to know where I can get hold of a new one without buying the whole kit.

Cheers.

Not yet :(

I got all the bits and gave them to my dad. He thinks the internals should be fine. I think its getting done tomorrow, so fingers crossed I'll get it back in the afternoon! :D

Such a pain not having a bloody car!

Use loctite and do not overtighten cause its an ally thread, believe me I learnt the hard way!!! Worst ways you will have a couple of bent push rods and maybe a snapped rocker lobe. Good luck

I wouldn't trust myself to do it, I'm very cautious of that kinda thing! If my dad messes it up he can pay haha. He's a mechanic and should know what he's doing.

Obviously hoping everything to be fine, push rods will be a pain. Don't know what a rocker lobe is though! But hopefully not expensive anyway :p
