hi i have a 61 reg disco 4 the warning light has come on saying water in fuel we have checked the fuel pump and there was no water anhave read it could be a sensor what sensor does anyone have any ideas thank you

I used to get the water in fuel sensor light coming on when the road was very wet! Once I wrapped the sensor connector in fusible silicon tape (electrical tape tends to unravel) no water got into the end of the plug and no warning light for over a year now.

Are you speaking about a D4 like the OP's? i kinda' doubt it

Nah, D2 - but impressed with the self-fusing silicone tape:cool: - great for plumbing and electrical jobs (sealing around the ends of electrical conduit; electrician's tape is no good in harsher environments)! Gotta get me some more of that tape - dreaming up new innovative ways of using it!:D
